In the Fall apples are picked, packaged, and sold. On this working orchard in Apple Hill, California, apple crates were ready for shipping. They were resting beside the white barn with long shadows cast from the nearby tree. What intrigued me was the colors and patterns of these shadows cast on the barn as well as the apple crates.
