Antidotes / 1 (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Helen Mount

This vibrant contemporary landscape is the first work from my new Antidotes series. The series reflects my personal search for sources of stability and emotional grounding — my own antidotes to anxiety, uncertainty and the fragility of life. In this painting, intense colours and contrasting layers create a landscape that feels both turbulent and deeply alive. The red and green fields suggest movement and transformation, while the deep blue creates a sense of depth and protection. It is an invitation to look for resilience not outside ourselves, but within.
