Always Clint (2009) Original Oil Painting by Kujbus Janos

🔷 STORY
In "Always Clint," I examine the fierce psychological reality of the ultimate male protector, completing the final piece of my triptych on masculine identities. This painting focuses on an intrepid, courageous archetype—a man seemingly always ready to fight and defend his partner at any cost. However, I wanted to strip away the tough Hollywood facade to expose the dangerous, volatile thin line beneath his bravery. This hot-headed, reactive nature can easily cross a line, turning the very source of a partner’s safety into an unpredictable threat. I invite the viewer to look closer and decide whether they see a reliable hero or a volatile danger.
