Almost is a large-scale original acrylic painting built around open white space, sweeping curved gestures, and a restrained palette of deep blue, violet, red, ochre, and black. Broad arcs move across the surface while smaller angular marks interrupt the flow, creating a composition that feels spacious, unsettled, and deliberately incomplete.
The painting is less dense than many of my larger works, relying on tension between the open ground and a few dominant forms rather than filling the entire surface. The result is quieter, but still energetic, with the composition held together by recurring curves and dark structural marks.
