This painting is dedicated to the inner child, a tender, dreamy girl just beginning to grow up. It's a collective image that came to me while reflecting on my childhood. And this is another painting done on canvas with a transparent primer. I love natural fabrics. And I always regret covering natural, vibrant linen with primer. But preserving the vibrant, natural quality of linen requires a lot of work. After all, preparing such a base for a high-quality oil painting is much more complex, starting with finding a very high-quality canvas and ending with layers of gluing and evenly coating the canvas with a transparent primer. But for me, "the effort is worth the candle."
Although now it's finally possible to buy such canvases outright.
On the linen canvas, all the attention is focused on the girl's face and the expression in her eyes.
