This artwork presents Alexander the Great through a contemporary and expressive visual language. In normal light, the portrait appears powerful and monumental, built with bold contrasts of turquoise, black, white and neon details. The face is fragmented, intense and almost sculptural, creating the feeling of a historical figure emerging from memory, myth and time.
Under UV light, the painting changes atmosphere completely. The fluorescent colours become stronger, the vertical neon lines create a sense of energy and movement, and hidden details begin to appear over the portrait.
In complete darkness, the final secret image is revealed: a glowing ancient figure appears in front of Alexander’s face, connecting the painting with Greek history, mythology and the timeless spirit of ancient civilization. The hidden layer gives the work a second life, transforming it from a portrait into a symbolic dialogue between power, heritage and legacy.
Created with my Progressive Multipaint technique, this piece offers three different visual experiences: daylight, UV light and total darkness. It is a modern tribute to Alexander the Great, designed for collectors who appreciate history, contemporary art and hidden visual storytelling.
