Original artwork description
This is a unique mixed media artwork by the artist signed as CB, depicting an abstract elephant. The work stands out for its layered composition, in which a smaller, colourful canvas is mounted on a larger, minimalist paper, creating an intriguing depth effect.
The artwork is made with paint on paper and combines different techniques and palettes. The foreground is formed by a stylized black elephant shape with silver contours on an off-white base. The rear canvas shows a vivid contrast between a red, textured surface and an organic, multi-coloured abstraction with shades of blue, green and yellow. The artist's initials 'CB' are visible in the lower left corner of the front canvas.
The painting is in an excellent, original condition. The colors are bright and the structure is intact, with no visible signs of wear or aging. The layered construction is sturdy and well preserved.
With its dynamic and expressive character, this artwork is a striking addition to a modern or eclectic interior. It could form a fascinating focal point in a living room, hallway or office space.
