Abstract 123 (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by Tanya Bilous

21 x 30 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 21 x 30cm (actual image size)

£207.53

This original A4 oil pastel painting (21 × 29.7 cm) is part of my 365-day daily painting project, created in Lisbon, Portugal. Built through layered geometric forms and expressive pastel texture, the composition explores rhythm, fragmentation, and the organic structure of nature through an intense palette of vibrant greens, deep emerald tones, olive shades, and luminous yellow accents. The painting feels simultaneously botanical and abstract, resembling leaves, reflections, or shifting natural landscapes broken into instinctive shapes and movements.

The artwork balances between geometric abstraction and contemporary expressionism, allowing raw texture, visible strokes, and color interaction to remain central to the composition. Soft oil pastels create a tactile surface full of energy and depth, giving the piece a strong physical presence despite its intimate format. This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork on paper, signed and created as part of an ongoing daily practice focused on intuition, color relationships, and emotional response. It works especially well in modern, minimalist, or nature-inspired interiors and is ideal for collectors drawn to bold green palettes, contemporary abstract art, and expressive geometric compositions.
