Winter sunsets may be short, but they can also be spectacular. Capturing the vivacity of them often means digging out seldom used colours in the landscape painter's regular palete. Often in my work, I use rich colour to enhance a subject. This was one of those rare instances where I actually had to tone the brightness of the colours down a little.
Created on, and shipped on a deep-edged, pre-stretched canvas....ready to hang unframed if preferred.
