10 Soulscapes (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Maryna Dobrova

70 x 100 x 1.5cm / 70 x 100cm (actual image size)

£1,640.81

In this painting I wanted to capture not just horses, but the emotions that live in us - free, real, alive. Each of the ten horses is like a state of mind, like a breath.
Calmness, confidence, curiosity, freedom. Joy, dreaminess, strength. Acceptance, gratitude, tenderness.
They run together without overtaking each other - so the feelings in us can exist simultaneously. This work is about the harmony within, about the silence in which all living things move, about the beauty we often feel but don't always have time to name.
I imagined how the viewer would gaze into each figure as if listening to the music of wind and rhythm. And maybe he would recognise himself in one of them - in that very moment when feelings run not from us, but with us.
