Biography
“Life is short. Enjoy it, even if it’s dancing by yourself in your kitchen.” - Kat Crosby
Kat is a self-taught abstract artist
who has been painting for over 13 years. She was born and raised in New Orleans but now resides in Lafayette, LA.
She has participated in local art shows, exhibits and fairs. Her sales now come from online galleries.
Kat’s art has been purchased by private collectors throughout the US and Canada. She has shipped paintings to collectors in Argentina, London, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Dublin and Sidney. She has done commissions for private and public collections. The latest being two 63”x67” pieces for Hotel St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri. She has been featured in Saatchi Art’s Spring 2021 catalog and is featured in Art Folio’s 2022 book.
Kat’s work is usually very bold and
colorful but with a feminine flair. A
favorite comment from a collector is “You use
color, shape and texture without fear.”
