2016: What does 'Muted' mean to you?
This painting is the second place winner of the international muted art competition sponsored by Liquitex in collaboration with Artfinder. The launch of the Liquitex special edition color range 'the Muted Collection'.

Muted means soft, gentle, tranquil, quiet, calm, rest, and relaxed.
Muted to me is a winter season.
Winter colors are soft and gentle.
Winter atmosphere is tranquil, quiet, and calm.
Winter is meant to be relaxed and restful.

My interpretation in an expressive loose style of abstract painting.
