Unique Artwork that celebrates The Contemporary Nude. Created from life drawing each artwork is observed and drawn from a life model by hand before being made into modern art for the wall. I think there's something inherently human about drawing people. I like to try and draw with one line as it captures my initial intent, errors and all. When you start, there is nothing when you finish, there's something. It’s a pure, unfiltered interpretation of life. I’m fascinated by the endless ways one can draw the body. Does it intrigue me to what makes a drawing interesting? Is it realistic or abstracted qualities? Is it in the details or simplicity? Is it the perfection in the human interpretation, or is it the imperfection? Each Nude is a one-of-a-kind, made up of one shape and cut from one sheet of steel. I have developed working with deferent colours and finishes. They contrast quite dramatically, some with an almost mirror finish, others with a rugged texture which is achieved via corrosion. This way, the Nudes can brave steamy places. I hope that those who choose to own my work take pleasure in incorporating the Nudes into there environments.
