  • Biography

Simona Nedeva, a resident of London, UK, is a painter specialising in oil art. During her teenage years, she pursued studies in iconography at the National High School of Fine Arts in Bulgaria and achieved success by winning a national art competition hosted by the National Palace of Culture in 2010. In 2021, Simona obtained an HND in Art and Design from David Game College in London. Since graduating, she has been invited to showcase her artwork in various galleries, including the prestigious Royal Society of British Artists. Recently, she was honoured with an Invitational Art Contest award from Galeria Moderna in Cambridge. Simona's paintings are a vibrant tribute to colour, shape, and texture. Her inspiration for landscape art stems from personal experiences while travelling, allowing her to capture the essence of nature's diverse elements. In her collection of cityscapes, Simona delves into the transformative journey of relocating to a bustling metropolis like London. Her latest creations explore the concept of Divine providence and serve as a spiritual awakening. From admiring skyscrapers as artistic marvels to narrating her artistic journey, Simona fearlessly pushes the boundaries by combining various techniques and processes, skilfully wielding both a palette knife and brush.
