  • Biography
Rupert Burt is a British contemporary painter. He studied at Central St Martins where he was awarded First Class Honours in fine art painting. He then went on to the Slade School of Fine Fine Art where he gained an MA in painting with distinction in 1995. He has shown internationally and at home since and has work in various public and private collections.

He makes abstract works in a number of different ways that share an illusionistic quality that throw up many figurative references, especially within the realm of science. The various unique and unorthodox methods by which the paintings are made seek to explore the possibilities of paint. He lives and works in London.
