  • Biography

My artwork prices are based on the fact that they are instant, I paint intuitively having been held back in my early years. I have sold many paintings for much more, therefore should be a good investment. My present aim is to share the pleasure I get from producing them with as many people round the world, so have made them affordable for everyone, Please also note that shipping cost per painting reduces when sending more than one painting, as I am charged by size not weight. Happy to quote for any destination not listed.
In 2020, on a spur of the moment, and for the first time, I entered a nationwide competition run by Mall Galleries of London and came runner up amongst 1000's of entries.
I think of my style as perspective impressionism, painted instinctively to give a realistic feel. The bright colors I use reflect my life, never sad, never looking back.
. Denied early opportunities to paint, I kept my oil paints for 50 years and started in earnest on retiring. Consciously and Subconsciously my whole life has been spent with this creative urge, yearning to recreate sights and events around me. Somehow over the years I have absorbed these feelings that now evolve in my work. I paint quickly, with passion from my heart.. I instinctively apply paint straight to the canvas, not drawing or sketching, starting with the shadows and over painting to let the lower layers show through. in awe of the effects paint can produce, enthusiastic with every brushstroke, music in the background, at last realising a lifelong ambition.
I paint from my heart, why not share my heart with yours?
