    Art is, among other things, a constant search for beauty and that's where I stop and search. I am looking for BEAUTY that can be expressed objectively or subjectively. 

    Marco Ortolan is an Argentine painter who has exhibited extensively nationally, as well as in Italy, Mexico, Germany, Portugal, and the United States. His themes change constantly because he believes that "the artist must be universal", since there are no messages because "art is interpretation." Ortolan oscillates between hyperrealism and impressionism, his pieces begin to take shape with color drawings. Large strokes outline shapes from large to small and are translated through oil on wood using a variety of tools.
