Since 2012 I have been an obsessive painter. My style is impressionist, loose lively and colourful.
I want to see the medium , love watermarks, knife, brush marks, scrapes and scratches.
Most work is in watercolour, and oils, but exploring inks, pastels, acrylics and more.
I am inspired by an endless stream of colour, shapes, textures and light that I see around me countless times a day, I never have enough time to paint. My subject can be anything.
My work is both plein air and from photos.
