About Irene Schaefer

I’m a primarily self-taught artist. I dove into arts later in life, taking classes and workshops from artists I admire and my work is constantly evolving. I’m a member of Richmond Hill Group of Artists and Markham Group of Artists, Ontario, Canada and have been participating in numerous Art Shows and Art exhibitions for several years. I enjoy painting in acrylics as it’s quick drying property allows me to move to the next layering stage faster, while keeping my colours crisp and bright. I believe that Artfinder would offer me a chance to give my artworks more online presence, while also allowing me to have an opportunity to be part of a much larger artistic community.
