White lines on top of a dark background, this is the setting that I feel most natural and comfortable to work with. The common use of lines is to define shapes, and that is why lines are usually black in order to give out the sense of depth.
But in my setting, the main purpose of lines is to define composition, and so any shape in white lines is adaptable and versatile as the lines need to fit in the whole composition rather than to serve a shape.
This setting became a method of how shapes and colors must be treated in my composition, and finally it became a style as I began to understand the philosophy, the mindsets, and the potentials.
