Biography
My work explores the living world, emotions, and imaginary realms.
I began by painting mainly cats, as well as dogs and other animals. I do not aim to portray them realistically: I simplify their shapes, alter their proportions, and create sensitive, sometimes mysterious atmospheres in which colour, texture, and expression play an essential role.
Over time, my work has gradually evolved towards a more abstract form of expression, mainly through watercolour. I am drawn to its transparency, fluidity, and unpredictability. Colours flow and merge, revealing organic shapes that may evoke plants, creatures, inner landscapes, or imaginary worlds.
My figurative and abstract works belong to the same artistic language. They are guided by intuition, freedom of gesture, and my fascination with the living world.
I intend to continue bringing these two directions together, pursuing my abstract explorations while regularly returning to animals, especially cats.
