    My artistic approach aims to honor the courage and struggle of Black people who fought for abolition. To honor civil rights icons, these powerful public figures have left a mark on their country with their insightful words, historic speeches and more.

    I want to show my admiration and profund respect to those who've impacted not just their country but the world with their activism and achievements.

    I also want to highlight those who had to emigrate, those who were born in a country that is not their ancester’s home. Those who must evolve against all the prejudices imposed on them.

    A continued engagement with history is vital as it helps give context for the present.
