I feel like creating art is the best way for me to express myself. I am not expressing myself with words but with design, color, and brush strokes. Sure I can paint a picture with words to describe what I feel about a beautiful tree, a mountain, or a sunset. But I can do a better job of getting people to understand what I am trying to say through my paintings. Expressing beauty is what drives me to create art. I can turn an everyday scene, something that people would pass by without noticing, into something truly beautiful and inspiring.
