  • Biography
I have always loved to create, working in my local art shop as a teenager. After finishing my career in aviation I am now in the position to paint full time and am loving it. I work in oils, it seems to suit my work best and as my work is quite fine I mostly work on linen, sometimes leaving the primed linen as the background. I first started to paint horses, (I still do the odd commission) I had two paintings at the Society of Equestrian Artists exhibition at the Mall Gallery, London. These were both very large paintings. My work now has progressed towards still life, I paint eggs, keys, locks, old toys and recently have started painting flowers, it's also a lot smaller for the most part, (although I do still paint the odd horse). My work has been exhibited at The Royal Society of Oil Painters and the Society of Women Artists, both at The Mall Galleries, London. I am looking to sell with a UK company, (I have sold a few via Saatchi Art), Art finder was one of the top of a google search and the art you sell is of a high quality so I thought I would apply.
