About BUGINGO Noah

  • Biography
My name is Noah Bugingo, I am a full-time artist. I was born 1994, I am from Kigali, Rwanda. I am a self taught artist, exhibited in the group exhibition my democracy at US embassy Rwanda 2014, I attended weaverbird art camp residency in Kampala Uganda, 2015 and I am first prize winner awarded in IPRC Kigali multitalent show 2017. My artworks are displayed nationally. I use pencil and charcoal but nowadays, my primary medium is acrylic on canvas. Through my artworks, I work on themes relating to rural Africa and its people, as well as animals and nature. Fusing impressionism with cubism and realism, I do impressionism painting with flat brush strokes techniques.
In my art career I focus on Whatever I feel that brings positive energy in my society.
