Portrait of a young woman in a beautiful tulle skirt with a sheer lace top.
I wanted the fabric to be as important as the beautiful person wearing it, so I draped her on the sofa.
I like the multi textured effect here, and the pale skin against the dark muted overall tone.
At the time of photographing, the painting was not varnished, so in the additional shots, some dark areas appear patchy. Once dry and varnished, tone will be consolidated and the whole piece will have more depth.
