The Memory Inside (2025) Original Ink Drawing by Nicol Vacaru
27 x 38.5 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 27 x 38.5cm (actual image size)
£501.95
Original artwork description
The Memory Inside is an original black and white ink painting in which one female profile appears within another. The nested silhouettes suggest a memory that has become part of the person carrying it.
Curved ink lines move through both faces, joining past and present within a single figure. The contrast between delicate marks, deep black areas and open white space gives the portrait a sense of movement while preserving its minimalist character.
Created by hand with ink on paper, this unique contemporary artwork combines abstract portraiture, expressive line art and figurative painting. Signed by the artist.
