In this piece, time loses its linearity, collapsing into a single point of crystal clarity. “The Encounter” explores the phenomenon of finding oneself – that elusive moment when two versions of the same person, separated by years and experience, meet in the present. We often seek grounding, understanding, and kindred spirits in the external world, unaware that the most important, pivotal encounter is always hidden from sight and takes place within.
It is a metaphor for a continuous inner dialogue and the path to absolute wholeness. Reaching such a moment of recognition is impossible without navigating the chaos, mistakes, and challenges of life. Only by integrating their past self – with all its vulnerability, hopes, and the journey it has travelled – can an adult gain true inner stability. This work is about returning to oneself and embracing a deep, quiet acceptance, where the exhausting search for external answers finally ends in absolute inner peace.
