The dusky pink hills,
Different shades of brown of the woods,
A landscape I connect with,
As I see across from Hartland moor.
Words and feelings of one of my favourite places to be.
Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper cold pressed bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb.
This painting is created from my inspiration of late Autumn and my experience of the many walks that I love in the Isle of Purbeck. This scene is observed from Hartland moor looking across to the woodland tree colour and Purbeck ridge.
I used a wet on wet technique and a dabbing - pressing technique.

Extra rough textured watercolour paper cold pressed acid free bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb, Holbein watercolours, bushy hogs hair brush, sable hair, filbert brush,
