Fonthill lake, Wiltshire
A relaxing walk,
In a magical valley,
A time to be calm,
As I see a beautiful sky,
Over the Summer trees and standing by the waters edge.

Original expressive watercolour on Bockingford 300 gsm 140lb cold pressed rough grain.
A three colour technique was used and wet on wet back washes were applied. When the painting had dried I then went back over the trees to enhance the colours. I dabbed and swirled the paint on expressively.
I was so inspired after spending time there and one of the most relaxing places to be - connecting with nature.
