Summer Mood is a contemporary abstract painting inspired by our memories of summer in Ukraine — a place we have not been able to return to for five years.
The artwork carries the atmosphere of our countryside home: a blooming garden, warm sunlight, lush greenery, and the vivid colors of Ukrainian nature. Flowing botanical forms and expressive lines create a joyful composition filled with warmth, movement, and the feeling of a long summer day.
Palette: deep green, fresh green, lime, warm yellow, golden yellow, orange, coral red, burgundy, light blue, turquoise, soft ivory, white.
Created by Valentyna and Valeriia Kniazieva — a mother–daughter artist duo from Ukraine, currently living and working in Spain due to the war.
The artists are Artfinder Best Sellers 2025, have been recognized as Artist of the Month, and their works have been selected for numerous curated Artfinder collections. Their artworks are represented in museum and permanent collections in Ukraine, France, and Spain.
