“Self portrait n.2” is the fourth of a series of self portrats which I painted between December 2020 and January 2021. In this series I worked on the same subject with different techniques. All these portraits are painted on a linen canvas with dimensions 28x38cm, painted on the sides and stretched on a supported wooden frame. “Self portrait n.2” is a mix between expressionism and realism in which the brush strokes are visible and the detail is carefully studied. The deep cobalt blue of the background highlights the acid colours of the face.
“Self portrait n.2” is an oil portrait painted with top quality colours, ready to hang and signed on the front and back.
