Self-portrait (2026) Original Oil Painting by Stanislava Cherkasova
50 x 70 x 1cm (unframed)
£879.89
Original artwork description
Painting myself allows me to experiment more freely than I could with any other subject. I can push into unsettling emotional territory, using vivid color, odd viewpoints and unconventional compositions that I would be reluctant to try on someone else.
In this painting, harsh color contrasts and an off-balance composition express a fleeting moment of unease and doubt
