Burmese monk… robes tend to be of a purplish colour. My focus here is on the robes as the title suggests… or rather an abstract impression of the cloth the monk is wearing.
This is painted on a raw Terschelling paper, which takes the paint quite differently from a pressed paper.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to give a better sense of the paint, paper and the brush stroke.
