Reverie (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Nagui

This evocative 24x20 inch acrylic painting, titled Reverie, captures a moment of quiet introspection and sophisticated repose. Rendered in a rich, textured Expressionist style, the central figure is depicted in profile, clad in a flowing, loosely draped orange robe that cascades over vibrant blue cushions. The deep, heavily-worked emerald green background provides a dramatic, tactile contrast to the warm tones of her attire and the cool blues of the bedding, drawing the eye to her distant, contemplative gaze. With her hands resting gently and elegantly in her lap, her posture speaks to a deep, private thought-world, making this piece a compelling study in stillness and depth. The visible brushstrokes and bold color palette add a dynamic, emotional quality to the serene subject.
