Poppies Galore (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by Julia Rigby

I have been moved to paint this as a response to the amazing quantity and variety of poppies this year. All over the garden they are popping up everywhere. Like life, they are fleeting. Blink and they are gone to the wind. A joyous reminder to celebrate life while you can.
The artwork is mixed media combining intense inkwork with acrylic and collage. The result is a painting which demands to be looked at and would sit well as the centre piece in a neutrally decorated room or one with accents of red or pink.
It is supplied in a wooden frame ready to hang. It works well in either pure simple white or black. (please specify when ordering) glazing is acrylic for safety.
