Peak District Moods (2017) Original Oil Painting by Veronique Oodian

This piece is inspired by a long walk at the Peak District during early Summer.

I have created this piece using indirect painting methods, layering paint using semi opaque and transparent paint. The sky is quite dramatic! I love how any simple scene is transformed by what is happening above and how it changes in mood when the sky and weather changes.

This painting is ready to hang however the edges of the canvas are plain white, therefore there may be a preference to have it framed.
