Roman Pines painting is inspired by the iconic umbrella pines that define the landscape around Rome. I was drawn to their elegant silhouettes and the way they frame the warm Mediterranean light.
Using palette knife and rich impasto layers, I created texture and depth to capture the atmosphere of a quiet Roman setting.
