Artwork description
Forest green and soft teal combine in this long exposure image of the beautiful trees in the forest near Loch Eck.
In a little known forest in Argyll, lies beautiful Loch Eck (lake). Peaceful and quiet, the surface is like glass in the early morning sunlight. The wondrous variety of velvety green tones in the trees reflect in deep water that stretches down until it reaches the sky.
This is a long exposure photograph made in early Spring as the new colours filled the trees.
This is the fine art paper version of the image, it comes with a couple of inches of border around the image with the title, editioning and my signature.
About My Work
I am passionate about using luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime! For these special large prints of my work I use beautiful aquarelle paper and the highest quality inks. People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use.
