Narrow Path To New Earth (2025) Original Collage by Emma Mullender
60 x 84 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 42 x 60cm (actual image size)
£1,250
Original artwork description
I created the collage by digitally enhancing photographs and using artisan wrapping paper. The collage includes a complimentary red picture mount. The image is A2, but with the picture mount, the size increases to A1.
Inspired by the biblical metaphor of 'the narrow gate and hard road leading to life' (Matthew 7:13-14), I see it as a symbol of spiritual transformation and hope, guiding us toward eternal love and the promise of a renewed dwelling with God.
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
-Matthew 7:13-14
“Let us meditate until we perceive the Infinite Christ reigning in our own hearts. Let us learn to love those who love us not and to forgive those who do ill against us. Let us break all our mental boundaries of colour, creed, and nationality and receive all – even our inanimate and animal brothers – in the endless, all-embracing arms of our Christ Consciousness. This will be a true and fitting celebration of the coming of Jesus Christ to this earth.”
