Moonshine over sea
Royal blue twilight,
Words and feelings of what I have created in Watercolour.
Observing the moon lighting up its pathway through the sea.All from my imagination of colours and visual memory.
Starting with wetting the rough textured watercolour paper,I layer a build up of washes, gently brushing and sweeping the paper using a wide squirrel hair flat brush.I then etch out the moon and gently blend in more colours around the moon, then bring in a horizon.Leave to dry, with a dry brush technique I sweep across the sea to create a build up of texture.
