METAMORPHOSIS
The work explores the transformation of one archetype into another. Initially conceived as an image of sacrifice, the composition gradually evolved into a figure of pleasure and surrender. Water becomes a space of liberation, while the body retains the memory of its former state.

Look at the photograph showing the reverse side of the painting. It reveals the moment where the work began: a crucified woman who gradually transformed into a woman relaxing in a bath.
