“Listening to the Rain” creates textural layers with embedded vintage puzzle pieces and expressive acrylic brush strokes. I love the rain and thunderstorms, so the “feel” of rain creeps into my paintings. This painting recalls the blue, wet drizzle of a cool coastal forest, perhaps like the Pacific Northwest.
