🎭 LION ON SKATES – MAJESTY OF MOTION 🦁

🔶 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to inject a sense of high-spirited humor into my work, pairing the ultimate symbol of royal majesty with a playful, unexpected twist.
This artwork captures a powerful lion balancing mid-stride on a pair of skates. The muscular body is synthesized into dynamic, fluid planes where the thick, expressive mane contrasts beautifully with the sharp, geometric lines of the skates and wheels.
Through this ironic juxtaposition and a rich bronze patina, I wanted to soften the traditional unyielding weight of the king of beasts. It is a whimsical exploration of how a minimal silhouette can project both maximum presence and effortless, joyful motion above its sleek, dark base.
