Mixed media painting in impasto technique. A contemporary interpretation of the natural world. This painting uses a mixture of textures and colours to create a multi-tonal effect that is perfect for every room. The use of earthy and muted colours brings out the more natural side of this painting in the leaves and trunks; contrasting the iridescent copper base that brings out a metallic finish in natural light and shadows in a dimmer setting. The main tree structures, the canopy and the foreground are separated with a modern sea-foam green that works with the earthy hues and the brighter metallics. This painting is an abstract interpretation of a nature meaning that it will be well placed in any setting and complements many décor styles and colours.
