£2,250

Oil & acrylic on canvas.

I have a bit of a thing for painting batman. I like to paint Batman on old portraits I've painted. It's a cheeky metaphor for how we all wear a mask in some form. The original portrait is warped and twisted with tons of mark making and visible scars. The mask makes us prettier, appear stronger and hides our true selves from the world.

Materials used:

oil paint, spray paint
