The whole canvas is covered with newspaper from the early 1900's. I used transparent color to be able to read most of it and see the interesting pictures from the past. It's fun to see what you can find from Charles Lindbergh to buffalo and much more. The edges are painted and there is a hanger on the back. This is a one of a kind treasure!
