    Cathy is an Arizona native.  She was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and now lives in the equestrian community of Queen Creek, Arizona.  She studied at the Milan Art Institute for 3 years, was mentored by them and volunteered in their studio, gallery and art supply store.  She loves mixed media techniques, abstracts and especially figurative abstracts. There is a Greek word "Meraki" that is often used to describe what happens when you leave a piece of yourself (your soul, creativity, or love) in your work.  When you love doing something so much that you leave something of yourself in it.  That is what I always want to have happen with my artwork!
