The Native American Indians used to call Saguaros "Old Grandfather" because they can take 10 yrs to reach 1" in height. By 70 yrs they can reach 6-7ft and start to produce their first flowers. The largest and oldest recorded Saguaro named "Granddaddy" was 300 yrs old was 40 ft. tall and had 52 limbs. This Oil painting is 24x36x1.5. It is varnished with painted edges and a hanger on the back. All of my paintings come with a letter of authenticity. Thanks for looking!
