Artwork description:

The etching “Loop” is a visualisation of the every-day experience of having a vibrant and busy life and being ‘in the midst of it all’. Most of us would recognise this feeling at times, juggling work and families, for example.
“Loop” is printed from 3 etching plates, in a number of colour compositions.
This allows me to explore the possibilities and effects different colours have on each other when layered. One colour version inspired the next. Many of the combinations I tried did not feel right. The ones I settled on are all a valued contribution to my idea of expressing busy contemporary Life including the fun and joy this brings.
This is colour combination 3, printed in a limited edition of 5.
Each etching is an original, printed by me on acid free fine art printing paper in my studio in Brighton. The image size is 35cm x 35cm with a paper margin of 8cm all around.
